Ran a loop out into Providence and back this morning.  I started at 8 minute pace and ended with 6:15 pace.  Although I finally got warmed up and going, I never really felt that good.  I am heading up to Idaho for my wife's family reunion today before I head down to Provo for the half.  I am looking forward to a couple nice relaxing days before things get crazy for me.  58:51

I am staying at the in-laws in Sandy, just a 20 minute drive around the Point to get to the race. What about you? When are you moving and supposed to report to school and all that?

Where is your wife's reunion? Anywhere in SE Idaho?

From James on Thu, Aug 09, 2007 at 13:38:45

Dave,

I am staying with my twin sister in American Fork. I am moving next week, and I don't really know when student teaching starts. USU starts on August 27, and I know we have seminars for the first week, not sure after that?

Jeff,

The family reunion this year is up by my father in-laws cabin in the Lava Hot Springs area, so it is in way SE Idaho.

I'm pretty sure Dustin is headed up, but his family is having a few setbacks right now, so I'm not positive.

Good luck this weekend at the race!

James,

Good luck at Provo--I'm heading to the Garden of Eden 10-miler myself. I know we had talked about getting a group together to help each other at St. George... you still up for it? I'm planning on running the PC 1/2 as a training run on August 25th--I believe Sasha will be there as well.
