I worked on my legs a lot the last couple of days, but they were still sore and tight.  I was able to walk this morning out of bed without a limp though.   Drove to Lone Peak with Tim and caught the bus.  The weather was warm, a bit cool at Tibble Fork.  I jogged a little before the race and I knew that I was in trouble, still way sore and the downhill hurt the worst.  I took off really slow and stayed back for a while.  I was behind a little group with the first two chicks and a couple of guys that I followd down the canyon.  I started mixing it up with them when we hit the trail about 8 miles.  Legs were dead on th trails, but it felt better that pounding down the canyon.  I hung on to the group the last couple miles and caught the last two guys on the track.  Ended up 5th.  Justin Park kicked the crap out of everyone and the other guys weren't that far ahead of me 2-3 minutes.  I think I will come back next year, uninjured and un sore though.  I felt fine, bu could not move the sore old legs any faster today.  By the time I was done I was just super glad to be done!

Timp Half was a good race.  I was impressed with Dave Bell and his crew and how they put it on.  The Meals were super cool too.

Good to see you racing James.

Yep, I even wore a white shirt with my coat and tie this morning. When in Rome…

Rory was wearing a black shirt. Pretty rebellious. He better watch himself at BYU. :-)
