A type of progression run today.  Started off my Lone Peak/Alpine hwy loop with 8;40 pace and finished with a 6:02 last mile.  My tendons in my lower right leg have been sore for a week, and really hurt on Saturday.  I think they finally started to get worked out half way through my run today and that is why I was able to pick up the pace toward the end of my run.   60 minutes (7:30  pace).

That's great maybe everything was just tight and you needed a good warm-up to get you going. I've heard that it's good to stop and stretch after you've ran a couple of miles to loosen everything up. I've never tried it myself.

That's great it must have worked. Sometimes I feel real tight when I first start to run. I will have to try this if I ever feel an issue with my tendons or whatever else.

Have you worked out a good training strategy for St. George this year?
