No run again today.  I am not that hurt I just wanted to see what would happen if I take 3 days off.  I am hoping it will help so that I don't have to take more time off.  I guess if I end up taking a week off sometime that is okay, but I would rather not.

Why the time off?

Jon,

I am trying to get this achilles problem taken care of so it isn't nagging me through the whole winter.

Hi James,

I am not sure if you still want to meet Friday morning. Depends on your schedule and your achilles, I am betting. I am still game. I normally wake up early for runs but since Friday is still half holiday a later start (like 7am) sounds good. Let me know!

Wise choice James. You have too much talent to be out with an injury. Taking the few days off now could have saved you from an injury. Plus your legs will be real fresh.

I kind of regret not taking off days after my 4 marathons in 9 weeks. My legs don't feel as fresh as they could be.
